The good stuff starts with a moment people instantly know without needing it explained.
Analog States makes physical entertainment for people who remember when boredom had to be solved, plans had to be made, and sometimes the TV only worked if somebody stood next to it.
Before every spare second became a feed, ordinary life asked a little more from us. You unfolded the map. You waited for the song on the radio. You argued over a movie at the video store. You stretched a phone cord around a corner because privacy was apparently considered a luxury.
Those little inconveniences became the memories people still talk about.
We live in the digital world too. Analog States is not nostalgia cosplay and it is not a lecture about screen time.
We simply think physical entertainment should still be good enough to compete for your attention. Funny. Tactile. Familiar. Worth putting the phone down for.
Analog entertainment for people living in a digital world.
Coloring books are where we started, not where we stop. Analog States is being built around puzzles, activity books, games, paper products and other physical experiences that make offline time feel like the better option.
A funny ’80s, ’90s and early 2000s coloring book for adults, built around 32 recognizable scenes from everyday American life. Road trips. Rabbit-ear antennas. Landline cords. Dial-up interruptions. Video-store debates. All the stuff nobody thought was historic while it was happening.
Every scene has something going a little wrong, because those are usually the parts worth remembering.

Color it. Solve it. Play it. Send it. Physical entertainment should ask you to do something.
Screen-free should not mean joy-free. If the product feels like homework, we failed.
REMEMBER THIS? is the first release. More analog ways to waste time properly are coming.
